On January 24, 2008, the opposition office of INPI decided in favor of the opposition filed by the holder of the trademark KWAY registered under class 25 for clothes,
against the request of trademark IWAY registered for the same products. INPI stated that the existence of a common structure and same impression of the trademarks could lead the consumers to believe that there was some connection between these trademarks.
