The company SFR, holding the trademark TEXTO for written messaging services used in telephone radios, took action for infringement against an individual who  had registered and used the trademark ONE TEXTO and the domain name onetexto.com.
On January 29, 2008, the Tribunal de Grande Instance (Court of First Instance) of Paris dismissed the infringement case of the company SFR, stating that the trade name TEXTO was a normal term and devoid of any distinctive form to designate messaging services.
