OAPI countries - African Intellectual Property Organisation
The system set up by OAPI allows the applicant to protect Intellectual Property in the following 15 African countries through a single application:
Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Togo
Similar to the French trademark, the OAPI trademarks protection is valid for a period of 10 years from the application date and is indefinitely renewable thereafter. |
